In return we will give you:
  • Opportunities to gain broad and varied experience and expertise to further your career in nursing
  • Support from an experienced senior nursing team including the corporate matron, lead nurses, consultant nurses, and advanced nurse practitioners
  • Flexible hours to accommodate your personal circumstances
  • Full induction programme supported by our dedicated Practice Development Team

  • Demonstrate a high level of compassion for patients and their relatives

You will embrace the challenge of working in a highly diverse environment, committed to becoming the safest organisation in the NHS.

You will be registered with the NMC and have experience of working in a hospital environment or be a newly qualified nurse.

Ward B7 is a 25‑bed neurosurgical unit, caring for patients with a range of neurosurgical conditions. Nursing staff will have the opportunity to gain and develop skills in the care of pre‑ and post‑operative patients, including those with a wide variety of spinal conditions such as long‑term paralysis, oncology, and elective spinal surgery.

This vacancy is open to experienced nurses only who have a current NMC PIN to practice as a Registered Nurse in the UK. An NMC PRN Pin is not a full NMC Pin and would not fulfil the essential criteria for this role.

We can no longer accept applications from international nurses and midwives who are yet to complete all competencies needed to receive a full NMC PIN to practice in the UK, as we have paused our OSCE programme indefinitely. For guidance on how to gain a full NMC PIN, consult the NMC website:
