Clinical Lead (RGN) – Nursing Home, Partington, Greater Manchester. Salary: £23.00 per hour + Paid Breaks.

Full‑time, permanent | Mixed shifts (weekdays and weekends).

Role Overview

We are recruiting a Clinical Lead (Registered Nurse) for a well‑established care home in Partington. This leadership role combines hands‑on nursing with team leadership to ensure high standards of care and clinical governance.

This role is suitable for those with experience as a Clinical Lead, Senior Nurse, Charge Nurse, Unit Manager or Deputy Manager within a residential or nursing home environment.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, support and mentor the nursing and care team to deliver safe, person‑centred care.
  • Take responsibility for clinical governance including audits, compliance and best practice.
  • Carry out assessments, care planning and reviews to meet residents’ needs.
  • Act as a role model on shift, making sound clinical decisions and remaining calm under pressure.
  • Support training and development of staff to improve clinical standards.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC standards, safeguarding procedures and relevant regulations.
Qualifications & Experience
  • NMC registered with relevant post‑registration experience.
  • Experience leading or supervising a team within a care home or similar setting.
  • Strong understanding of CQC standards, safeguarding, audits and compliance.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships.
