Alexandra Hospital in Cheadle is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare. We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our Critical Care Team.

Full‑time role with 37.5 hours per week, permanent. Shift pattern is flexible. Salary is up to £43,174 per year depending on experience, training and qualification.

• Provide hands‑on clinical care, acting as a senior point of support for complex or deteriorating patients.
• Coordinate daily clinical activity and ensure safe staffing levels, skill mix, and continuity of care.
• Promote high standards of nursing practice through supervision, coaching, and role‑modelling.
• Allocate and supervise staff during shifts, ensuring responsibilities are clearly defined and patient needs are met.
• Support the development, appraisal, and competency assessment of junior nurses, HCAs, and students.
• Contribute to the induction and ongoing development of new staff, ensuring adherence to clinical standards and policies.

• Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration.
• Significant post‑registration experience in an acute or relevant specialty.
• Experience in leading and supervising a team within a clinical environment.
• Strong clinical decision‑making, communication, and coordination skills.
