Theatre Practitioner – Anaesthetics and Recovery
Manchester, The Christie Private Care
Permanent, full time, 37.5 hours per week
Shift days Monday to Saturday
Shift patterns 7:30 am – 6:00 pm, 10:00 am – 8:00 pm, 12:00 pm – 9:00 pm

What you’ll do
  • Deliver consistently high standards of patient care using evidence based practice
  • Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate all aspects of patient care throughout the perioperative journey
  • Prepare patients for anaesthesia and provide skilled assistance to the anaesthetist
  • Deliver safe and effective post anaesthetic care within the recovery setting
  • Work collaboratively across the theatre suite, sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues
What you’ll bring
  • Operating Department Practitioner or Registered Nurse qualification
  • Current HCPC or NMC registration
  • Post registration experience within a theatre environment

    Proven experience in anaesthetics and recovery
  • Completion of a postgraduate anaesthetics course (for nurses)
