Locum Clinical Services Manager Manchester Hourly Rate: £25.00 - £35.00 per hour (Negotiable) Full-Time Contract | Flexible Working Pattern Available Are you an experienced clinical leader looking for your next locum opportunity within dementia care? We are seeking a Locum Clinical Services Manager to support a specialist dementia care home in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse with strong leadership skills to provide clinical oversight, support a high-performing care team, and help maintain outstanding standards of resident care.

The Role Reporting to the Registered Manager, you will take responsibility for overseeing clinical operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting the day-to-day management of nursing and care teams.

Key responsibilities include:

Providing clinical leadership and operational support across the service. Leading and supporting nursing and care staff to deliver high-quality, person-centred care. Managing staff supervision, performance management, and clinical governance processes. Monitoring care standards and ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and best practice guidelines. Conducting audits, reviewing documentation, and implementing quality improvement initiatives. Supporting workforce planning and ensuring appropriate staffing levels. Mentoring and coaching clinical staff to promote professional development.

Working collaboratively with senior management to ensure safe and effective service delivery. About You To be considered for this role, you will have:
Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse. Previous experience in a Clinical Services Manager, Deputy Manager, Clinical Lead, or similar senior nursing role. Experience working within elderly care, nursing homes, or dementia care settings. Strong knowledge of CQC requirements, safeguarding, and clinical governance. Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills. The ability to quickly build relationships and provide stability within a service.
