Working in partnership with The Christie NHS Foundation Trust, The Christie Private Care offers access to one of Europe's leading cancer centres. Our colleagues care for patients receiving a wide range of systemic anti cancer treatments, including complex chemotherapy, immunotherapy and targeted therapies, within a purpose built environment designed specifically for cancer care.

Whatyou'll do:
- Administer Systemic Anti Cancer Therapy (SACT) safely and effectively in line with local policies, national guidance and individual treatment protocols.
- Provide outstanding nursing care through the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patients receiving cancer treatments.
- Monitor patients throughout treatment, recognising and responding appropriately to adverse reactions and treatment related complications.
- Work closely with oncologists, pharmacists and the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver seamless and personalised patient care.
- Provide supportive education and guidance to patients and their families throughout their treatment journey.
- Registered General Nurse with a valid NMC registration.
- Current SACT competency and proven experience administering chemotherapy independently within an oncology or haematology setting.
- Demonstrable experience caring for patients receiving systemic anti cancer treatments, with a strong understanding of treatment pathways and symptom management.
- Excellent clinical assessment, communication and patient education skills, with a compassionate and patient centred approach.
- The ability to work effectively within a specialist multidisciplinary team and the flexibility to support a range of bank shifts.
