Are you a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon looking to join a community-focused practice? A client in Greater Manchester is seeking a passionate professional to join their team on a part-time basis. The role is 20 hours per week with a 1 in 4 weekend rota.

The practice supports professional growth with Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and certificate courses. It offers a supportive and collaborative environment, with a team ethos of mutual encouragement and clear career progression.

Located a few miles from Manchester City Centre, the surgery provides access to the city’s cultural scene and nearby Peak District walks. Commuting is convenient with a tram stop outside the practice and Manchester Airport a short drive away, facilitating weekend getaways.

• Provide clinical care as part of a busy practice, contributing strong surgical and diagnostic skills to the existing team of three full-time vets.
• Collaborate with a dedicated five-strong nurse team and a frontline reception team of five to deliver high-quality client and patient care.

• Qualified Veterinary Surgeon eligible to practice in the UK.
• Strong surgical and diagnostic skills; ability to thrive in a busy, friendly environment.
• Available for part-time hours (20 hours per week) with a 1 in 4 weekend rota.

• Salary up to £70,000 (FTE, DOE).
• Generous CPD funding including certificate courses.
• No out-of-hours work.
• Private healthcare and paid memberships (RCVS, VDS, etc.).
