Veterinary Surgeon – Part-Time
Location: Greater Manchester
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Part time – 20 hours per week | 1 in 4 weekends | No out-of-hours
The Vet Office is supporting a well-established, independently run small animal practice in Greater Manchester with the recruitment of a Part-Time Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly and growing team.
The practice has been serving the local community since 2000 and has built a strong reputation for providing high-quality veterinary care alongside excellent client service. This opportunity would suit a veterinary surgeon seeking a stable, supportive environment with flexibility and a strong focus on professional development.
The Practice

The team includes experienced veterinary surgeons, a proactive nursing team and a welcoming front-of-house support team, creating a positive and well-organised clinical environment.

The RoleThis is a part-time position of 20 hours per week, with a 1 in 4 weekend rota. There is no out-of-hours requirement.
The practice is open to consult-only veterinary surgeons, as well as those wishing to carry out a mix of consulting and surgery.
Professional development is strongly encouraged, with CPD and certificate support available.
The Ideal Candidate- Qualified Veterinary Surgeon, eligible to work in the UK
- Confident in general practice, with good diagnostic and surgical skills
- Comfortable working as part of a close-knit team
- Motivated, reliable and client-focused
- Interested in ongoing learning and professional development
- Salary up to £70,000 FTE, dependent on experience
- Generous CPD allowance with certificate funding
