Tractor Gang Mower Driver

Manchester (M23 area)
£13.50 per hour
3-month temporary to permanent

You will be responsible for operating tractor-mounted gang mowers to maintain extensive grassed areas to a high standard, while supporting the wider grounds team when required.

• Operating tractor-mounted gang mowers safely and efficiently
• Cutting large grassed and open turf areas to specification
• Completing daily pre-start checks and reporting defects
• Carrying out basic machine care (cleaning, lubrication, blade checks)
• Following set mowing schedules and work plans
• Safely manoeuvring machinery across site
• Assisting with general grounds maintenance duties as required
• Adhering to all health & safety and PPE requirements

• Proven experience operating tractor-mounted gang mowers
• Good understanding of grounds maintenance operations
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads
• Full UK driving licence
• Machinery certification (or willingness to undertake training)

• PA1 / PA6 spraying certifications
• Experience with in parks, estates, sports turf or local authority environments

• £13.50 per hour
• Temp-to-perm opportunity after 3 months
• Consistent work with a professional grounds team
