Job Title: Tractor Gang Mower Driver

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Length: Initially 3 months with the potential to turn permanent depending upon performance

Hours of Work: Monday - Friday, 7:15am - 3:00pm, 36.25 hours per week.

Rate of Pay: £13.50 per hour

To operate a tractor‑mounted gang mower safely and effectively to maintain large grassed areas, ensuring high presentation standards and supporting the wider grounds maintenance team.

• Operate tractor with gang‑mower attachments to cut large grassed and open turf areas.
• Conduct daily pre‑start checks and report defects promptly.
• Carry out basic machine care including cleaning, lubrication, and blade checks.
• Follow mowing schedules and complete all assigned areas to specification.
• Safely manoeuvre machinery across sites.
• Support general grounds maintenance tasks when required.
• Adhere to all health & safety and PPE requirements.

• Experience using tractor‑mounted gang mowers.
• Relevant machinery certification (or willingness to train).
• Strong understanding of grounds operations.
• Able to work independently and follow schedules.
• Full UK drivers license.

• PA1/PA6 spraying certifications.
• Experience in parks, estates, sports turf or local authority settings.
