Clinical Vascular Scientist (CVS)

Fixed‑term 12‑month contract covering maternity leave.

The ideal applicant will have graduated from the Scientific Training Programme or have accreditation to the CSVS; consideration will be given to candidates approaching accreditation or graduation. You will be a friendly, focused, and effective communicator, working closely with patients, their families, and colleagues. Your role will involve performing a full range of vascular scans and delivering a high standard of care.

• Post‑graduate qualification of Accreditation to the Society of Vascular Technology of GB and I or successful completion of the STP MSc. or equivalent qualification.

• Approx. 3 years clinical experience in Clinical Vascular Science.
• Experience in teaching/training of Clinical Vascular Science.
• Experience in audit.
• Experience in research.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Clinically competent in vascular scans.
• Proven workload management of self.
• Proven ability to problem‑solve.
• Effective organisational skills.
• Good analytical and clinical decision‑making skills.
• Awareness of clinical governance process.
