Senior Regulatory Technologist - Beauty

Due to exciting expansion, a rare opportunity has arisen for a Senior Regulatory Technologist to join a leading Beauty, Cosmetics and Lifestyle Company.

The role would suit someone keen to move into a senior role, joining their rapidly growing, high-energy business in the North West of England.

The regulatory team is focused on ethical consumer trends. Raw materials are reviewed for cruelty free compliance, vegan suitability, plastic-free and sustainability being company standards for our formulations.

The role will be reporting to the Regulatory Manager.

The role will primarily be focused on working with a key retailer, reviewing pack copies for products intended for global markets (UK, EU & USA), as well as formulation review, creating PIFs and processing the relevant customer forms and country-specific documentation to support the launch of new ranges.

The role will work closely with the NPD and Lab teams to provide technical assessment for new formulations as part of product range development. Working closely with the retailer to ensure their requirements are met.

This role will also involve speaking directly with test houses, raw material suppliers and regulatory bodies to build knowledge and professional network.

The ideal applicant would have a BSc/MSc Cosmetic Science or a Chemistry background with experience within the cosmetics industry either through previous roles or completing the SCS Diploma – Distance Learning Course. Ideally the applicant would have ~3 years’ experience in a cosmetic regulatory role, however open to all levels of experience.
