QA Lead | AI-Driven SaaS Platform | Up to £75,000 | Manchester (Hybrid)

Up to £75,000 + Benefits

Are you a QA leader who believes quality should be embedded throughout the software development lifecycle—not treated as a final checkpoint?

We're working with an innovative SaaS business that is investing heavily in AI and modern engineering practices. We're looking for a QA Lead to define and drive their quality strategy, helping engineering teams deliver high‑quality software at pace while embracing AI‑powered testing and automation.

The Opportunity

This is a hands‑on leadership role where you'll shape QA strategy across multiple products, champion automation, and promote a culture of shared ownership of quality.

Working closely with Engineering, Product and Platform teams, you'll play a key role in improving release confidence, embedding quality into CI/CD pipelines and helping teams adopt AI‑assisted testing practices.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Define and lead the overall QA strategy across multiple products
  • Own and evolve modern test automation frameworks
  • Champion quality throughout the software delivery lifecycle
  • Improve CI/CD quality gates and release confidence
  • Coach engineers and testers on best practice and automation
  • Drive continuous improvement across testing processes and tooling
  • Introduce AI‑assisted testing techniques where they add genuine value
  • Work collaboratively across Engineering and Product to enable faster, safer software delivery
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience leading QA within a modern Agile software environment
  • Strong automation experience with tools such as C#, Playwright, Selenium or xUnit
  • Experience embedding automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
  • A passion for improving engineering quality and mentoring teams
  • Experience working within SaaS or cloud‑based technology businesses
  • Interest or experience in AI‑assisted testing, automation or LLM‑enabled products would be highly desirable
Why Apply?

You’ll be joining a business that is genuinely investing in quality, engineering excellence and AI innovation. This is an opportunity to influence how quality is delivered across the organisation while working alongside ambitious, collaborative teams building cutting‑edge software.

Package
  • Hybrid working – 2 days per week in Central Manchester
  • Opportunity to shape QA strategy within a growing technology business
  • Strong focus on learning, innovation and career development

If you’re passionate about building modern QA practices, driving engineering excellence and embracing the future of AI‑powered software delivery, we’d love to hear from you.
