Junior Quality Engineer this would be great for someone who has completed a full apprenticeship with hands on experinece
What You’ll Be Doing- Supporting the Quality Engineering team with day-to-day quality assurance activities.
- Assisting with product conformity checks and ensuring compliance with customer and industry specifications.
- Supporting calibration activities and maintaining quality records.
- Assisting with the administration and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) / Integrated Management System (IMS).
- Working with manufacturing teams to help maintain high quality standards from raw material through to finished product.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and supporting departmental projects.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience within a manufacturing environment, ideally in a quality‑related role.
- A good understanding of manufacturing quality processes, including: product conformance, calibration, engineering drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of manufacturing principles throughout the production process, from raw materials to finished products.
- An understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and/or Integrated Management Systems (IMS).
- Experience working within highly regulated industries such as aerospace or defence would be advantageous.
- Strong organisational skills with good attention to detail.
- Competent IT and administrative skills.
- A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and a desire to develop a career in Quality Engineering.
