Research Assistant

RESEARCH ASSISTANT IN MUSCULOSKELETAL RESEARCH AND CLINICAL TRIALS

We are seeking a motivated and collaborative individual to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to carrying out a national clinical trial in rheumatoid arthritis to assess whether an injection or daily tablet is better at controlling the disease whilst remaining cost-effective within a dynamic and inclusive environment.

You will be responsible for:

• Assist study staff/students/external researchers working on the clinical trial
• Training, advising and possible assistance with supervision of students
• Demonstrate effective time management and ability to work to strict deadlines
• Conduct literature reviews where appropriate under supervision

• You will hold a BSc (2:1 or above) or MSc with relevant experience in biomedicine, psychology or a related discipline
• Excellent IT, organisational and time-management skills

• Experience of undertaking applied health‑related research
• Experience of medical research and scientific writing
