Overview
We are seeking a motivated and collaborative individual to join our team as a RESEARCH ASSISTANT IN MUSCULOSKELETAL RESEARCH AND CLINICAL TRIALS. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to carrying out a national clinical trial in rheumatoid arthritis to assess whether an injection or daily tablet is better at controlling the disease whilst remaining cost-effective within a dynamic and inclusive environment.
Responsibilities- Assist study staff, students, and external researchers working on the clinical trial
- Training, advising, and possible assistance with supervision of students
- Demonstrate effective time management and ability to work to strict deadlines
- Conduct literature reviews where appropriate under supervision

Essential Criteria- You will hold a BSc (2:1 or above) or MSc with relevant experience in biomedicine, psychology or a related discipline
- Excellent IT, organisational and time-management skills
- Experience of undertaking applied health-related research
- Experience of medical research and scientific writing
