The North West Regional Research Delivery Network (NW RRDN) is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Registered Clinical Research Practitioner. This role offers the opportunity to work across a range of health and care settings throughout the North West, supporting the delivery of high‑quality research.

As part of our Agile Research Delivery Team, you will lead the delivery of NIHR Portfolio research studies across multiple specialties and organisations, supporting participant recruitment, study delivery and safe conduct of research while ensuring the highest standards of quality and regulatory compliance. Travel across the North West is required.

• Coordinate and deliver NIHR Portfolio research studies, ensuring they are conducted safely, ethically, and in line with study protocols and Good Clinical Practice.
• Support participant recruitment and follow‑up, and undertake research procedures within scope of practice.
• Maintain accurate study documentation and contribute to the successful delivery of research across multiple organisations.
• Provide day‑to‑day support and guidance to colleagues, building strong partnerships with clinical and research teams.
• Mentor and support team members to develop a positive research culture across the region.
• Contribute to service improvement and the development of innovative approaches to research delivery.

• Educated to degree level in science or health‑related discipline, or equivalent experience in delivering clinical research trials.
• Registered or working towards accredited registration with the AHCS.
• Knowledge of the governance and legislative framework for conducting clinical research studies, including ICH Good Clinical Practice.
• Experience of setting up and delivering research studies in a health and care setting.
• Experience of caring for patients or participants enrolled in research studies.
• Knowledge and experience of data systems, data entry, data interpretation, verification and reporting to local and national centres.
• Good IT skills, particularly in web applications, MS Office and/or Google Hub applications.
• Good planning, organisational and interpersonal communication skills; ability to work autonomously.
• Ability to travel for work and hold a clean driving licence.
• Understanding of personal accountability.

This role requires a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and may involve the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975. A DBS check will be carried out prior to offer.

£32,073 to £39,043 a year (pro rata).
