The University of Manchester is seeking a committed postdoctoral researcher to join the ERC-funded Gesius project, focusing on Syriac under texts among five Gesius palimpsests. You will edit, translate, and study the material within its historical and linguistic context, contributing to a multidisciplinary team in Manchester.
You should have a PhD in Syriac Studies or related field with an excellent Syriac command, and be prepared to travel for research trips while primarily based in Manchester.
