Dakota Hotel based in MANCHESTER CITY CENTRE are seeking outgoing individuals to join our Food and Beverage team this festive season – ideal for someone with alternative commitments and seeking their first job.

Our location, 29 Ducie St, Manchester M1 2JL
, is centrally located in the Piccadilly Basin, close to Piccadilly Station, ideally positioned for public transport users.

The role is a zero‑hour, fixed‑term contract (17th Nov 2025 – 2nd Jan 2026). Pay rate is national minimum wage plus tronc payments of at least £1.34 per hour. Typical shifts start at 5 pm and include working weeks. You must be available to work Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve.

• Carry out the role of a waiter/waitress in our Bar and Grill, providing table service, taking guest orders and running large trays of delicious food to guest tables.
• Provide the highest levels of guest service, offering personalised dish and beverage recommendations, and delivering a memorable dining experience.
• Work closely with the Bar and Kitchen team to ensure effective flow of communication.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage menu options to enhance the guest experience.

• Waiting experience is beneficial but not required; outgoing personality with effective communication skills.
• Ability to work at pace and be physically active for the duration of your shift.
• Willing and able to pour, serve and sell alcohol.
• Enthusiastic individual who promotes our culture of positivity.
• Task oriented with great pride for the work and attention to detail.
• Flexible with shift patterns and available around the needs of our business.
• Demonstrated research of our brand and genuine desire to join our team.
