** Food and Beverage Assistant
**** The Christie Private Care, Manchester
**** Full time, 37.5 hours/ week  Permanent
**** Shifts between 0600am and 2100pm  £13.36/ hour + excellent benefits including private healthcare

* What you’ll do:

** You’ll deliver a standard of service no different to a high-end hotel or restaurant, where the focus is on being attentive and giving people a positive experience. Meals are an important part of any hospital stay, and you’ll help make that experience smooth and comfortable by:
* Helping patients choose meals, taking orders and delivering food across the hospital
* Preparing and collecting meal trays promptly
* Answering phone requests and communicating dietary needs to the kitchen
* Keeping work areas clean, washing utensils and maintaining hygiene standards
* Recording additional requests and following all allergen and dietary safety policies

* What we’re looking for:

** We’re looking for someone who puts people first - someone who knows how to support others in a busy environment and can bring that confidence into patient-facing conversations. As well as this, you’ll:
* Have previous hospitality, retail or customer-service experience
* Be confident in speaking with patients and colleagues
* Take pride in delivering warm, attentive service
* Demonstrate good awareness of food hygiene standards
* Have a flexible, reliable approach during busy periods
