THE ROLE

Behind every memorable meal is a team of chefs who take pride in every ingredient, every garnish and every plate that leaves the pass. As a Line Chef, you'll play an essential role in bringing our menus to life, preparing every dish with consistency, precision and genuine passion.
This is more than working on a section.
It's about becoming part of a kitchen that values teamwork, attention to detail and the pursuit of excellence. You'll learn from experienced chefs, master authentic Italian ingredients and techniques, and help create dishes that guests remember long after the evening ends.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Prepare and cook dishes to the highest standard, ensuring every plate reflects the GiGi philosophy
- Master your section through excellent preparation, organisation and attention to detail
- Work closely with the wider kitchen brigade to deliver smooth, consistent and beautifully paced service
- Maintain exceptional standards of food quality, presentation and consistency throughout every service
- Prepare fresh ingredients with care and respect, following recipes and specifications precisely
- Keep your section clean, organised and fully prepared through outstanding mise en place
- Support senior chefs while continually developing your own skills and knowledge
- Maintain the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness and kitchen organisation
- Contribute positively to a supportive, professional kitchen culture where teamwork always comes first
- Take pride in every plate, knowing every dish represents Gi Gi
WHO YOU ARE
- Passionate about cooking and committed to developing your craft
- Calm under pressure and able to work with pace whilst maintaining exceptional standards
- Someone who understands that consistency is the foundation of great cooking
- Curious about Italian cuisine, fresh ingredients and traditional cooking techniques
- Reliable, hardworking and proud of producing your very best every day
- A team player who enjoys working within a close-knit kitchen brigade
- Eager to learn from experienced chefs and continue developing your career
- Someone who believes every great guest experience starts in the kitchen
EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience working within a professional kitchen is preferred
- A passion for fresh food, quality ingredients and exceptional cooking
- Understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-focused environment
- A desire to continually develop your skills and progress within the GiGi kitchen brigade
- A genuine passion for Italian food and hospitality is an advantage
