Barista

£13.45 per hour | 37.5 hours per week | Monday-Friday | Salford

Are you an experienced Barista who enjoys being around people and delivering great customer service?

We're looking for a friendly, customer-focused Barista/Coffee Shop Assistant to join our team at Morson HQ in Salford
.

This is a great opportunity for someone with barista experience who wants to work in a professional corporate environment, with no regular evening or weekend shifts
.

You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day running of our onsite coffee shop, serving great coffee and providing a friendly, welcoming service to colleagues and visitors.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and serving coffee and other drinks to a high standard
• Providing friendly, helpful and efficient customer service
• Taking pride in keeping the coffee shop clean, tidy and well presented
• Managing stock and replenishing supplies when needed
• Operating the till and handling payments
• Closing down and cleaning the coffee shop at the end of the day
• Going the extra mile to make sure customers have a great experience
• Supporting the wider team when required, including providing holiday cover

The standard working hours are:

Monday-Thursday: 8.30am-4.30pm

Friday: 8.30am-4.00pm

This includes a 30-minute lunch break.

There may also be opportunities/requirements for overtime and holiday cover when other members of the team are away. Holiday cover may occasionally involve an earlier 7.00am start, so some flexibility is important.

• Has previous barista experience – this is essential
• Takes pride in providing excellent customer service
• Is friendly, approachable and enjoys interacting with people
• Is reliable and organised
• Takes pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment
• Is happy to get stuck in and go the extra mile for customers and colleagues
• Can work well independently as well as part of a team

You’ll be working in a busy corporate environment, so a professional and personable approach is important.
