Mobile Library Assistant

We're looking for someone with a warm, friendly nature, a positive can-do attitude, and great organisational skills. In this role, you'll deliver outstanding customer care, bring genuine enthusiasm for supporting people of all ages, and be a vibrant team player who's always ready to jump in and help.

What you'll be doing:

• Championing our library services and engaging with the community.
• Keeping our shelves organised and our stock in great condition.
• Helping visitors make the most of our IT resources.
• Getting involved in events like story times, author talks, and more.
• Supporting a range of health and wellbeing activities.

Some parts of the job can be active and may involve lifting or moving items-but if you enjoy a role that keeps you on your feet, you'll feel right at home.

Please note

We have 5 positions available and they repeat every two (2) weeks in a four (4) week rota

Week 1 and 3 Monday morning is at Thorngumbald (0930 to 1230 averaging 1.5 hours per week)

Week 1 and 3 Thursday morning is at Beeford (0930 to 1230 averaging 1.5 hours per week)

Week 1 and 3 Thursday afternoon is at Kilham (1330 to 1700 averaging 1.75 hours per week)

Week 1 and 3 Friday afternoon is at Skidby (1345 to 1615 averaging 1.25 hours per week)

Week 2 and 4 Tuesday all day is at Keyingham (1000 to 1700 averaging 3 hours per week)
