Graduate Accounts Assistant

Position: Graduate Accounts Assistant (Permanent)
The Company:

An exciting opportunity for a recent Graduate looking for experience, or an entry-level candidate with strong analytical aptitude to join a fast-moving homewares company, excellent training and development. Looking to bring in temporary assistance to support the finance team for 2 or 3 months, starting end of March/Early April.

The Role:

Assisting with data analysis, monthly reporting, and data entry.

Liaising with various departments across the business such as, Accounts, Design, Sales, Shipping, etc. Maintain the critical path in line with the product ranges.

Ensure the timely arrival of product orders.

Raising purchase orders.

Checking delivery notes.

Chase up labelling/ packaging approvals and product samples.

Manage customer orders ensuring all queries are answered and issues are resolved.

Accountable for the delivery of the critical path for product ranges.

Build progressive and effective relationships with customers and factories.

As appropriate report any issues which may affect the timely delivery of product orders.

Skills Required:

Graduate

Good Excel

Skills:

Proficiency in VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and data manipulation is ideal.

Must be very organised and take responsibility for managing a key retail account.

Computer literate in Excel, Word and Outlook.

Good team player.

Good communication skills.

Proactive and flexible.

Responsible and reliable.
