37.5 Hours per week over 7 days
£12.79 per hour + rewards & Benefits
Responsibilities- Use retail experience to drive business, push sales, and achieve targets.
- Lead a team to deliver excellent customer service to donors and customers.
- Collaborate with the local community to generate donated stock.
- Recruit, train and retain a volunteer team, providing leadership and guidance.
- Set high standards of merchandising and housekeeping, prioritising health and safety.
- Manage effective stock processes to keep the shop well merchandised with fresh, seasonal stock.
- Act as a brand ambassador for Sue Ryder, supporting in‑store campaigns and national fundraising initiatives.
- Manage stock processes through the EPOS system.
Essential Criteria
- Customer Service Experience
- Previous supervisory Experience
- Cash Handling/Till work
- Basic IT skills (emails, instant messaging, video calls)
- Organisational Skills
- Lone working experience
- High street retail, leisure or hospitality background
- KPI and target experience
- Charity retail experience
- Health & Safety knowledge
- Team Player
- Key holder / opening and closing duties
- Merchandising / Stock rotation experience
- 27 days holiday rising to 33 with length of service plus bank holidays (pro rata if part‑time)
