Our shops raise millions of pounds every year to fund life‑saving research. By giving your time you will join a movement of people passionate about beating cancer.

You’ll be welcomed into a friendly, supportive team, where you’ll gain valuable skills, build confidence, and make new friends – all while making a real difference for people affected by cancer.

Volunteering in our shops is exciting and rewarding. From styling windows with pre‑loved fashion to welcoming customers and helping with payments, volunteers are at the heart of our shop teams and every shift makes a difference.

• Greeting customers and offering a friendly, helpful service.
• Identifying quality items that could sell for a good price, helping to raise more money for the shop.
• Creating eye‑catching window displays and keeping the shop looking its best.
• Helping at the till by taking payments and encouraging customers to donate through Gift Aid or to round up their total to support the shop’s fundraising.
• Participating in team activities to fundraise for campaigns such as Stand Up To Cancer.

You don’t need any experience to volunteer – you just need to be motivated, enthusiastic and enjoy being part of a team.

• Flexible and happy to get stuck into a variety of tasks.
• Enthusiastic about helping to raise vital funds through the shop’s activities.
• Team players who enjoy being part of a supportive, inclusive environment.
• Bringing energy and passion to help us beat cancer together.

• Minimum age 18.
• If aged 16–17, you may volunteer on a recognised scheme, such as school‑organised short‑term work experience.
• Must be living in the UK.
• You must disclose any unspent criminal convictions, in confidence.

We want you to get the most out of your volunteering experience. The shop manager will organise shifts that fit your availability and will provide a full induction and ongoing training to help you feel confident in your role.

We can reimburse reasonable travel and other out‑of‑pocket expenses, as agreed in advance with your manager.
