Location: Walkden

Availability Window

Sunday to Saturday, 07:00 to 13:00 hours each week. These are the times you will be scheduled, with a minimum of 12 guaranteed hours and up to 16 guaranteed hours per week.

Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £13.28 an hour; this increases to £14.55 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.

We will schedule your contracted hours within the listed windows and provide you with a three‑week notice of your shifts. Flexibility is supported if your availability closely matches these windows.

Responsibilities
  • Help serve shoppers better every day.

  • Provide excellent natural service, passing customers through the store with pride.
  • Be knowledgeable about products, services, and current promotions.
  • Work across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas as required.
  • Apply the training you have received to work safely, effectively and serve customers brilliantly.
  • Make decisions for the benefit of customers, delivering routines that meet their needs in a timely manner.
  • Participate in seasonal, community and charity events, creating a great inclusive atmosphere.
  • Understand your store's performance, recognising your role in driving service, sales, reducing waste and shrinkage, and delivering profit.
  • Handle products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in the best condition.
  • Live the store's values, making everyone feel welcome and always following policies.
  • Accept deliveries into the store where required.
