Retail Supervisor

We are looking to recruit a new retail supervisor for our shop in Little Hulton, Salford. This permanent, full‑time role works 39 hours across five days per week, with flexibility required throughout the week including weekends.

Hourly pay: £13.61, guaranteed a minimum of 39 hours per week (around £530 per week). Overtime may be available. Benefits include:

• Support the manager as part of the management team to run an efficient shop and provide excellent customer service
• Take full responsibility for running the shop in the manager’s absence, ensuring customers are looked after, deliveries are worked quickly, and shop routines are completed to maintain a safe, clean and tidy shop
• Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders, and develop your team of retail assistants
• Control operational costs, including shrinkage, waste and payroll

• A friendly, positive, hard‑working approach to work
• People skills: easy to get on with everyone and able to build strong working relationships
• Trustworthy and reliable – your team and customers will depend on you to do your job to the best of your ability at all times
• Some experience as a supervisor, team leader or manager in retail or similar industries is helpful, but we welcome applicants who are starting their retail management career
• Ability to complete a Basic DBS check (England/Wales) or Disclosure Scotland check (Scotland); employment is subject to a satisfactory check
