About the Role

The In-Store Visual Merchandiser (VM) plays a key role in maintaining brand identity, promoting product, and delivering an exceptional standard of display and visual presentation in windows and in-store. The role requires living and breathing the company values, delivering great service, and adapting to change and evolution.

Responsibilities

• Fully manage the visual proposition for a store by promoting brand merchandise and delivering an exceptional standard of visual presentation inside the store and in the windows.
• Be aware of sales budgets, mystery shops, area VM visits and model store activities.
• Install and maintain window schemes to an excellent standard on a daily basis.
• Style all mannequins according to guidelines, local market needs and market direction.
• Participate in staff meetings as needed and keep the team up to date with moves, direction and changes.
• Implement and manage brand visual guidelines with Store Manager support, considering market-specific direction.
• Monitor and support the Store Manager and department managers with VM budgeting and presentation adjustments.
• Collaborate with Area VM and Store Manager to map floor space and determine option counts for new and existing product lines.
• Assist pre-planning and delivery of sales guidelines and market mapping for sales plans with Area VM and Store Manager.
• Maintain strong product knowledge to communicate effectively with customers and support selling.
• Support Store Manager in ensuring replenishment of products on the sales floor.
• Support and deliver training for the store team on visual execution and standards.
• Assist Field VM specialist in executing, coaching and training of brand and seasonal guidelines within store.
• Walk the windows daily to identify product challenges and daily presentation standards.
• Collaborate with key department managers to achieve best VM standards for the store.

About You

• You’ll have 2+ years retail experience with the ability to follow brand guidelines and understand the basics of visual merchandising.
• You’ll have strong stakeholder management skills, and you will collaborate to win.
• You’ll be creative, commercially aware and able to make informed decisions, communicating with impact across all levels.
• You will work well with change, adapt fast and work with pace.
• You’ll act with purpose and integrity.
• You’ll take ownership with excellent attention to detail.
