Do you enjoy organising and have a passion for pets? As a Stock Processor Volunteer, you’ll be essential in supporting our shops and ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Your efforts are crucial to our success, and we’d be thrilled to welcome you as a volunteer to see the difference you can make.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for sorting and preparing donations, ensuring each item is ready for sale in our shop. You'll keep our stockroom well organised and efficient, making it easy to find and manage items.

We’re looking for someone with strong sorting skills to categorise and prepare donations, attention to detail to uphold high standards, and the ability to handle lifting and carrying items comfortably. A friendly and cooperative spirit is essential for working well with others and positively impacting our team environment.

What you will be doing
  • Sort donations to ensure only the best pre‑loved items make it to the shop floor.
  • Prepare donations, checking that all goods are clean, intact, and functional.
  • Price donations using our pricing system so each item has a clear price ready to be sold.
  • Organise the stockroom to keep it well‑organised and efficient, making it easy to find and manage items.
The skills you need
  • Sorting skills, helping us by categorising and preparing donations so they’re ready for our shop.
  • Attention to detail, handling tasks carefully to help maintain high standards in our store.
  • Comfortable with lifting and carrying items.
  • A friendly and cooperative spirit to support others and contribute to a great team environment.
