Buyers Admin Assistant - Fashion Brand

Our client a successful and well established D2C online ladies fashion brand are looking to recruit a fashion obsessed Buying Admin Assistant to support the senior buying teams. The successful candidate will ideally have a degree in Fashion Buying and merchandising and at least 6 months experience within a Buying Admin role for a fashion brand and be career minded to develop to AB OR BUYER .

Working with cross functionality clothing dept

— regularly contacting suppliers, chasing orders and keeping deliveries on schedule.

— tracking product development and delivery deadlines and making sure suppliers stay on schedule.

— organising production samples and making sure they are ready for fit sessions and sign-off.

— attending fittings, taking/implementing comments and helping move products through development.

— BAAs can become involved in developing their own styles, taking inspiration from Pinterest, catwalks, influencers and trend forecasts.

— contributing ideas for new developments and understanding upcoming trends.

— at least some BAAs have responsibility extending from development through to sign-off and daily trading.

— building strong relationships with factories/suppliers and communicating amendments or issues.

— supporting Buyers and Assistant Buyers with the day-to-day running of their categories.

Must has at least 6 months + experience working as a BAA for an online fast fashion brand

career minded to be a a future fashion AB / BUYER

able to work full time head offices based in Manchester
