£45,000 - £50,000 + Car or Car Allowance + Bonus

Our Client are a leading provider of Renewable Solar PV Technologies to commercial businesses across the UK.

Our Client seeking a driven, commercially minded Business Development Manager, ideally based in the North West to join their rapidly growing Commercial Solar team. This role is critical in expanding their client base, identifying new revenue opportunities, and driving the growth of their Solar PV, Battery Storage, and Renewable Energy Solutions across the UK.

The Role

We are seeking a driven, commercially minded Business Development Manager to join our rapidly growing commercial solar team. This role is critical in expanding our client base, identifying new revenue opportunities, and driving the growth of our solar PV, battery storage, and renewable energy solutions across the North.

The ideal candidate will bring strong sales expertise, exceptional communication skills, and a deep interest in the renewable energy sector. Experience in commercial solar, energy efficiency, or construction environments is highly advantageous. Proficiency in CRM software—such as Salesforce, Hub Spot, or Odoo—is required, along with a proactive, consultative approach to business growth.

The Candidate

* Proven experience in business development and account management within the Commercial Solar, BESS, Renewable Energy sector.

* Demonstrable track record of generating and closing new business opportunities.

* Strong understanding of B2B sales cycles, consultative selling, and the renewable energy value proposition.

* Proficiency with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Hub Spot, or Odoo.

* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.

* Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

* Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure commercially viable agreements.

* Target-driven mindset with the resilience and motivation to meet and exceed performance goals.

* Based in the North of England – ideally the North West.
