Location: North West (Hybrid)
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 DOE + Commission
- £40,000 - £50,000 basic salary (DOE)

We are currently recruiting for a well-established and growing Fire & Security business operating across the North West. The company specialises in the design, installation and maintenance of Fire & Electronic Security systems, along with electrical disciplines and emerging technologies.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a forward-thinking organisation with strong progression potential.
The RoleAs a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving new business growth, developing new account relationships and maximising opportunities across the Fire & Security sector.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and secure new business opportunities across the North West
- Target and win new account relationships to generate revenue growth
- Build and manage long-term client relationships
- Conduct site visits, sales presentations and client meetings
- Identify customer needs and provide tailored Fire & Security solutions
- Negotiate contracts and confidently close deals
Accurately update and manage CRM systems - Maintain strong internal working relationships with colleagues
- Stay informed on industry developments and competitor activity
- Manage your own diary and pipeline effectively
- Travel to meet clients as required
- Proven track record in a sales or Business Development role
- Strong Fire & Security industry knowledge (Fire Alarms, CCTV, Intruder, Access Control essential)
- Professional, business-focused and results-driven
- Confident negotiator with the ability to close deals
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to analyse customer requirements and offer effective solutions
- Organised with excellent time management skills
- PC literate, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Self-motivated with a determined and proactive approach
- Full UK driving licence
