Founding Account Executive – High‑Growth Sustainability Consultancy

This is a unique opportunity to join an innovative and fast‑scaling consultancy helping companies reduce carbon emissions, build internal sustainability capability, and accelerate their journey to Net Zero.
Hybrid - Manchester

- Sell a high‑impact offering: sustainability certification, executive training, fractional sustainability teams, and strategic decarbonisation programmes.
- Work directly with experienced founders and leaders who prioritise your development.
- Clear promotion pathway into Head of Sales as the team expands.
- Drive new business through structured outbound prospecting and targeted outreach.
- Conduct discovery calls, understand business needs, and position sustainability‑led solutions.
- Build and execute outbound campaigns, while managing inbound interest from the website and referrals.
- Manage a 1–2 month consultative sales cycle with deal sizes progressing towards £100k
. - Maintain pipeline accuracy, CRM discipline, and a consistent sales process (super important)
- Engage directly with directors and senior leaders; closing will initially be supported by the leadership team.
- Work directly with the founders and gain knowledge quickly in the sector.
- Provide consultancy based sales with the chance to directly impact Net Zero.
- Receive continuous coaching, training, and hands‑on development from leadership.
- Autonomous career progression with the opportunity to build a sales team in the future.
- Proven B2B sales experience with a consultative approach (ideally from a consultative and sustainability tech background)
- High‑energy outbound mindset - motivated to prospect and build pipeline.
- Articulate and able to understand complex environmental.
- Hunter mentality with ambition to progress into senior sales leadership.
- Data‑driven and structured in their approach - this is crucial
- Strong commercial instincts and ability to navigate senior‑level conversations.
- Coachable, inquisitive, and eager to grow in a start‑up environment.
- Brings knowledge or contacts across sustainability sectors (preferred).
- Thrives in an A‑Player culture built on ambition, learning, and impact.
