Account Manager – (Instrumentation / Process Automation)

Midlands, United Kingdom

Role + Responsibilities for an Account Manager:

We are looking for an Account Manager in the Midlands region with proven experience in an engineering field to promote and sell our full range of Instrumentation, Services, and Solutions. You will be a dynamic sales professional with a passion for building relationships, expanding business within existing accounts, and identifying new opportunities through a consultative approach.

Main responsibilities for an Account Manager:
  • Managing and growing business within your account base using strategic account planning.
  • Building strong relationships and develop a deep understanding of customer needs and industry trends.
  • Developing expertise in Endress+Hauser’s products, services, and solutions.
  • Collaborating with internal teams including Marketing, Sales, Service, and Solutions to deliver value to customers.
  • Applying a consultative sales approach and work cross-functionally to achieve results.
  • Implementing company sales strategies and contribute to business development initiatives.
  • Building a strong network of contacts and maintain regular customer engagement both in-person and virtually.
  • Demonstrating agility, proactive decision-making, and a positive, solutions-focused attitude.
Qualification + Profile for an Account Manager:
  • Proven sales experience in Instrumentation, Valves, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and a drive to exceed sales targets.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
