About the job E-Commerce Account Manager

The Company

We're partnering with a well-established, privately owned consumer goods business recognised for innovation. The business has a long heritage, strong retail relationships and is well known for its NPD. They have continued to grow their digital and marketplace channels and are now looking to strengthen the team with a commercially sharp e-Commerce Account Manager.

The Role

This is an E-commerce Account Manager role focused on driving growth across key e-Commerce and pureplay channels. You will take ownership of a portfolio that includes Amazon 3P, and online pureplayers.

The role will involve:

  • Managing and developing key online retail accounts
  • Driving sales growth across Amazon 3P and pureplay customers
  • Building strong joint business plans with key partners
  • Managing pricing, promotions, range, content and trading performance
  • Working closely with internal teams across sales, marketing, supply chain and product
  • Identifying new growth opportunities across digital channels

The Candidate

  • We're looking for someone with omni-channel experience within consumer goods
  • You might already be a National Account Manager, eCommerce Account Manager, Marketplace Manager or Key Account Manager looking for a broader commercial role

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Strong commercial and trading capability
  • Good understanding of online retail performance, content, promotions and digital account management
  • A proactive, hands-on style and the ability to work closely with wider internal teams

This would suit someone who enjoys managing established accounts, but also wants the opportunity to shape growth in a fast-moving eCommerce channel.
