The Role

We're looking for a Strategic Accounts Sales Executive to join our Strategic Accounts team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious sales professional who enjoys developing relationships with major customers and is looking to progress into an Account Manager or Account Director role within the next 2–3 years. Working nationally, you'll be responsible for developing and growing a portfolio of strategic accounts across the full range of Speedy's products and services.

You'll work closely with key internal stakeholders to identify opportunities, maximise revenue and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic customer accounts.
  • Develop and implement account growth strategies across all Speedy product categories and service lines.
  • Build trusted relationships with key customer stakeholders.
  • Identify new commercial opportunities to increase revenue and profitability.
  • Deliver engaging customer presentations and business reviews.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and support contract renewals.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Maintain an excellent understanding of customer requirements, market trends and competitor activity.
  • Produce accurate forecasts and pipeline updates.
The Ideal Candidate Essential
  • Proven sales and/or account management experience.
  • Strong commercial awareness with a customer‑focused approach.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Confident building relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong networking and relationship‑building skills.
  • Financial awareness with the ability to support profitable growth.
Desirable
  • Degree educated or equivalent.
  • Experience with in construction, infrastructure, industrial or a related sector.
  • Knowledge of asset management solutions.
