Up to £50,000  Car Allowance  Bonus Job Type: Full-time About the Role Im recruiting on behalf of an established international logistics provider that is looking for an experienced Freight & Logistics Business Development Manager to drive new business across air, road, and sea freight services. This is a high-impact commercial role suited to a driven sales professional who excels at winning new accounts and developing long-term, profitable customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities Generate new business across air, road, and sea freight markets. Drive lead generation through cold outreach, networking, referrals, and market research. Build and manage a strong sales pipeline from prospect through to close. Develop tailored multimodal freight solutions across air freight, groupage, LTL/FTL, and ocean services . Work closely with operations, pricing, and customer service teams to ensure smooth delivery and margin growth.

Maintain a strong commercial presence within your assigned markets and trade lanes.

What Were Looking For Proven success in business development within freight forwarding, logistics, or multimodal transport . Strong track record in lead generation and converting new business opportunities. Good understanding of UKEurope and global freight flows across air, road, and sea. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to negotiate and close profitable deals. Confident communicator with excellent relationship-building skills. Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working independently.
