Purpose Of The Role
The Territory Manager will provide M.E.D. Surgical customers with support in the sale and distribution of Operating Room products such as Laparoscopic, Cardiac, Vascular and Urology/Gynaecology devices to Clinicians in the Midlands or Wales. KeyDuties And Responsibilities
- This is a sales role and involves presenting, demonstrating and developing new business. Working on your own initiative to see opportunities and convert them to sales is essential.
- Provide Clinical Support to Customers in the area of Laparoscopic/Cardiovascular/Thoracic & Urology/Gynaecology instrumentation and consumable products.
- Develop relationships with key customers into lasting business partnerships.
- Achievement of sales plans on a quarterly and annual basis.
- Assist customers with clinical, technical and commercial enquiries.
- Business planning and implementation throughout area of responsibility. Development of new business opportunities and determination of new client and market potential.
- Systematic collection, presentation and interpretation of market and competitor information.
- Provide feedback on customers, promotional programs and environmental changes and provide ideas to improve product and company performance in the market place.
- Implementation of new product launches and other corporate activities within area of responsibility.
- Attendance at relevant conferences and meetings.
- Employees are responsible for their continuous professional and personal self‑development.
- Surgical Sales person with 3+ years’ Medical sales experience.
- Experience of selling into operating theatres with an advantage if you have existing relationships with Gynaecology and Urology specialities.
- High reliance on drive and planning and excellent organizational and account management skills.
- Willing to travel within the UK.
- Full training provided.
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must have full, clean driving license (company car provided).
- Clinical or a Medical device sales background is essential.
