Lift Sales Manager

Sheridan Lifts are seeking an experienced and commercially driven sales professional to join our established New Lifts Sales team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with proven experience in the lift or construction industry to play a key role in developing new business, strengthening client relationships, and driving continued growth within our New Lifts division.

Working within our New Lifts Sales department, you will be responsible for developing and managing opportunities across a diverse range of projects, including:

• New lift installations
• New lift shafts
• Complete lift replacements
• Commodity lift installation projects

This is a varied and commercially important role for someone who enjoys building relationships, identifying opportunities, working with technical products, and delivering measurable sales results.

• Drive and deliver approximately 3 million in annual sales revenue

• Qualify and develop new lift enquiries from initial contact through to opportunity development.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, developers, and supply-chain partners.
• Develop an in-depth understanding of Sheridan Lifts' product portfolio and vertical transportation solutions.
• Manage and develop customer enquiries, converting opportunities into new accounts and long-term commercial relationships.
• Ensure all CRM records, sales trackers, and opportunity pipelines are accurate and consistently maintained.
• Monitor enquiry levels and sales activity to assess lead quality and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and clients to ensure a professional and seamless customer experience.
• Analyse market trends, customer requirements, and emerging opportunities to support future business growth.

• Proven experience in lift industry sales
  , business development, or a closely related construction-sector sales environment.
• A strong understanding of the lift and vertical transportation industry.
• An established network of relevant industry contacts is highly desirable.
• A proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing revenue opportunities.
• The ability to identify and implement structured business growth plans.
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to recognise new opportunities.
• Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and customer management skills.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• The ability to work independently, prioritise effectively, and perform under pressure.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and associated business software.
• A confident, professional, and positive personality.
