The Role

As Business Development Manager, you will play a key part in growing Manchester City's seasonal hospitality revenue by identifying, developing and converting opportunities across inbound and outbound sales channels. The role is centred on building a healthy pipeline, nurturing relationships and turning interest into bookings that support the Club's commercial goals.

You will manage day-to-day sales activity with care and consistency, from prospecting, networking and lead generation through to accurate pipeline management and reporting. You will also host prospects on matchdays, support face-to-face meetings and bring a professional, informed approach to every customer interaction.

Success in the role will come from combining commercial instinct with strong organisation and consistent follow-through. You will work closely with colleagues across Hospitality and wider commercial teams to shape ideas, test new approaches and help deliver a high-quality experience for domestic and international clients.

What You'll Bring
  • Experience in business development or sales, ideally selling high-value products, premium services or hospitality offerings.
  • Ability to build, manage and convert a sales pipeline through outbound and inbound activity.
  • Confidence in face-to-face selling, including hosting prospects and representing the Club professionally on matchdays.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships with a wide range of clients.
  • A proactive, organised approach to prospecting, networking, lead generation, data capture and CRM or database management.
  • Strategic thinking, teamwork and a clear focus on delivering revenue targets and excellent service.
