, you'll be responsible for identifying and acquiring new merchants through field sales, canvassing, and relationship building. This is a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact from day one while growing your career with a fast-growing global fintech company.
- High-Volume, Relentless Outreach: Conduct high-volume, persistent cold outreach on a daily basis — this is a hunter role, not a farmer role. No single channel is off-limits.
- Multi-Channel Prospecting: Combine door-to-door visits, cold calling, and other outbound channels (email, social, referrals, events) as needed to build and fill your own pipeline.
- Conduct in-person meetings and product demonstrations with prospective merchants, showcasing KPay's payments and POS solutions.
- Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline
; consistently meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets. - Negotiate contract terms and pricing within approved guidelines to close new business.
- Build strong relationships with merchants to support onboarding and drive referrals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads, meetings, and deals in the CRM.
- Adaptability & Performance Management: Be willing to work within KPay's sales systems and processes, take on new challenges as the role evolves, be actively managed against performance targets, and consistently push to achieve high performance.
- Provide market feedback (competitor activity, merchant needs) to the wider Sales and Product teams.
- Ambitious, sales- and results-driven — someone who is hungry to overachieve targets, and who takes ownership of their own numbers.
- Genuine care for customers — someone who truly wants to understand merchants' problems and provide real value, not just close a deal and move on.
- Comfortable with a high-activity role involving daily outreach, rejection, and travel within the territory.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated and resilient, but also coachable — open to feedback, direction, and being managed towards higher performance.
