Our client is a well-established and highly successful business, renowned for delivering high-quality garments across the Healthcare, Corporate Wear, Workwear, and Sportswear sectors are looking for a Customer Service / Key Account Manager to join the team. Alongside its garment division, the company also operates an integrated advertising and marketing agency and a fast-growing fitness racing business.

You will need to be a quick learner, capable of developing a strong understanding of the business, its products, customers and supply chain. You will be responsible for managing and developing established customer accounts, while also identifying and pursuing new business relationships and opportunities.

For someone with the right ability, attitude and ambition, this role offers genuine scope to develop, take on greater responsibility and progress within the Group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and develop relationships with key Healthcare, Teamwear and University and College customers
  • Act as a principal point of contact for customers, dealing with queries and resolving issues promptly
  • Develop relationships with prospective colleges and secure new partnerships
  • Manage account renewals and ongoing customer aftercare
  • Place, monitor and track customer orders through to delivery
  • Coordinate UK and international deliveries and manage delivery schedules
  • Liaise closely with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met
  • Prepare quotations and estimates
  • Take ownership of issues and see them through to resolution
Skills & Experience
  • Bright, confident and a quick learner
  • Lively, outgoing and comfortable dealing with people at all levels
  • Driven, enthusiastic and keen to get things done
  • Naturally customer-focused and able to build strong relationships
  • Highly organised and capable of managing several priorities
  • Logical, practical and a good problem solver
  • A clear and confident communicator
  • Comfortable taking responsibility and using their own initiative
  • IT literate, with a good working knowledge of Excel; ERP experience would be an advantage
  • Previous experience in customer service, account management or a similar commercial role would be beneficial, but attitude, aptitude and potential are equally important to us.
