Kitchen Designer

We’re looking for a talented and personable Kitchen Designer & Sales Consultant to join our team and help customers turn their ideas into beautifully designed, practical kitchens.

This is a customer-focused role where creativity, commercial awareness and excellent communication are equally important. You’ll guide customers from their initial ideas through to a complete kitchen design, helping them make confident decisions along the way.

The role

You’ll be responsible for:

• Meeting customers and understanding their lifestyle, tastes, requirements and budget.
• Creating thoughtful, functional and inspiring kitchen designs.
• Producing professional plans, layouts and visual presentations using kitchen design software.
• Preparing accurate quotations and specifications.
• Guiding customers through product, material, appliance and finish choices.
• Managing your own sales opportunities from initial enquiry through to completion.
• Building strong relationships and following up enquiries to maximise sales.
• Working closely with suppliers, installers and the wider team to ensure projects run smoothly.
• Delivering an exceptional customer experience from first conversation to finished kitchen.

About you

We’re looking for someone who combines design flair with strong sales and people skills
.

Ideally, you’ll have:

• Previous experience in kitchen design, fitted furniture, interiors, bathrooms or a related sales/design environment.
• A confident, friendly and professional approach to customers.
• Strong attention to detail and an eye for design.
• The ability to understand customer needs and translate them into practical solutions.
• Excellent communication, organisation and follow-up skills.
• Commercial awareness and confidence discussing budgets and closing sales.
• Experience with kitchen design software such as 2020 / Winner / AutoCAD / Compusoft / other.
• The drive to achieve personal and team targets.
