Business Manager - Industrial Electrical Wholesale

Manchester | £40,000 - £60,000 + Uncapped Annual Profit Share + Company Car/Allowance

An excellent opportunity for an experienced commercial or wholesale professional to build and lead a brand-new industrial electrical wholesale business in Manchester.

The business is part of a leading national group, giving you the backing, infrastructure and buying power of a major organisation while retaining considerable autonomy at local level.

You’ll be responsible for establishing the customer base, developing strong local relationships, identifying new commercial opportunities and driving sales, margin and profitability from launch.

• Build and develop a strong local customer base
• Win new business across Manchester and the surrounding industrial market
• Develop existing industry contacts and relationships
• Build strong long-term customer and supplier relationships
• Drive sales, margin and profitable growth
• Recruit and develop the local team
• Manage stock, purchasing and overall commercial performance
• Establish the business as a trusted supplier within its local market

You may already be an experienced Branch Manager or Business Manager, or you could be a successful External Sales, Key Account or senior commercial professional ready to take the next step.

Experience with in industrial electrical wholesale, electrical distribution, mechanical distribution, MRO, automation or a closely related industrial market would be highly relevant.

You’ll need a strong commercial track record, good knowledge of the local market and the drive to build and grow a successful business.

• £40,000 - £60,000 basic salary depending on experience
