Marketplace Key Account Manager

Selling through their own website and major online marketplaces, they are a fast-paced, ambitious business with a collaborative culture and a clear focus on growth.

They are looking for a commercially minded, analytical Marketplace Key Account Manager to manage and grow their key marketplace channels. You will own performance across selected high-value channels, making sure sales, profitability and promotional targets are hit. Working closely with merchandising, ecommerce, product and leadership, you will drive revenue growth and uncover new marketplace opportunities. Reporting to the Head of Marketplace, you will have real influence on long-term strategy.

• Account ownership: manage and grow key marketplace accounts, driving sales, profitability and performance
• Partner relationships: act as the primary contact for marketplace partners and build strong, collaborative relationships
• Performance management: monitor account health, marketplace standards and budgets, reporting against agreed targets
• Promotional planning: build and execute promotional calendars around marketplace opportunities and key trading periods
• Commercial insight: analyse sales data, customer behaviour, competitor pricing and market trends to shape pricing and growth strategy
• Reporting: develop KPIs and reporting frameworks, and present actionable insights to leadership
• Growth: identify new partnerships and scalable opportunities, and support the onboarding of new marketplace partners and channels
• Collaboration: work with merchandising on pricing, product selection and promotional delivery, and lead or support improvement projects across marketplace operations

• Proven experience in a marketplace, ecommerce, account management or analytical trading role
• Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to interpret data and turn it into action
• Experience analysing sales performance, pricing, competitor activity and trading trends
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and the confidence to influence at all levels
• Highly organised, proactive and detail-focused, with strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
• Multi-channel ecommerce or marketplace trading experience, ideally on platforms such as Amazon, eBay, Wayfair or B&Q Marketplace
• Experience managing promotional calendars and trading events
• Knowledge of ecommerce reporting and analytics tools
