We are currently recruiting Aviation Security Officers to work at Manchester Airport.

• Provide great customer service to passengers and customers.
• Report all security incidents and concerns to the security supervisor.
• Work positively and effectively with all team members and other airport and airline colleagues.
• Comply with training, security regulations and G4S company policies and procedures.
• Work safely at all times and in line with G4S safety standards, policies and procedures.
• Always act professionally, dress smartly and be an excellent timekeeper.
• Complete any reasonable tasks that are required by the company or line manager.
• Operate as an energetic and professional team player who can work to demanding timescales to ensure that flights depart on time.
• Use the necessary training and uniform provided to confidently carry out the role in line with security regulations and G4S company policies and procedures.
• Perform aircraft protection duties, including aircraft searches, baggage searches, and passenger searches where required.

• Unrestricted right to work full time in the UK for a minimum period of 12 months.
• Must be a UK resident for the last 3 years.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Good customer service/communication skills.
• Ability to pass the CRC check.
• Ability to pass all required training.
• Have a five‑year checkable employment history or be able to produce documentary evidence of any period of unemployment, self‑employment or full‑time/part‑time education during that period.
• Physical requirements include being on their feet for extended periods of time and the ability to work in outdoor weather environments.
