Overview
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Security Response Officer who will work in Manchester to support holiday and lunch cover, sickness, and additional works for the business. You must be able to demonstrate and deliver high quality of guarding and customer service to both our clients and service users. We require Officers to be SIA licensed and be able to stand and patrol for very long periods of time in and outside, also you must be flexible in hours and in the approach to daily duties.

- SIA Licence required
- Security and customer service experience required
- Must be flexible and able to work days, nights, weekends, and change shifts due to operational needs
- Good command of English language
- Good levels of customer service, communication both written & verbal at all times
- Flexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site
- Maintains working knowledge of locations, security & safety for assigned areas
- Hospitals, retail, long periods of standing, patrolling, reception duties, access control, and lock ups
- First Aid qualification & a CCTV SIA Licence is a bonus
- Must have five years of checkable work history
- Must be able to travel in and around London areas, including Horsham, Potters Bar and Crawley
- Able to demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and customer service to both our customers and service users.
- Able to work in a team as well as on your own and have the ability to be pro‑active and think on your feet using initiative.
- Be calm under pressure and confident in dealing with confrontational situations in a calm and professional manner.
- Physically fit to complete patrols internally and externally and able to stand/walk during shift.
- Confident in writing incident and shift reports.
- Always portray a friendly, professional and courteous demeanour, using open and appropriate body language.
- Ensure visitors and staff are dealt with efficiently, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their expectations are met, if not exceeded.
- Have the IT skills and ability to understand and use varied Access Control and CCTV systems and platforms / integrated systems (lots of sites use different systems).
- Have the ability to write emails and reply to emails in the correct manner.
- Speak, very important in corporate industry.
- Have the ability to exercise command and control and be an effective communicator to all peer groups and management levels.
- Able to understand corporate escalation process;
Escalate and disseminate information in a timely manner to correct personnel in the event of an emergency or incident on site. - Role includes opening and closing procedures of a building, patrolling, reception duties, access control, answering incoming telephone calls, and conducting emergency procedures.
