Security Site Supervisor (FTC)

Location: Manchester, UK

Pay: £38,756 per annum

Hours: 46.6-hour average per week (includes 20 days of annual leave cover built into salary), fixed‑term contract until June 2027

We are looking for a Security Site Supervisor to oversee day‑to‑day security operations, support and develop a team of Security Officers, and ensure the highest service standards for our client. The role combines operational supervision with administrative responsibilities.

• Support recruitment, induction, training and ongoing development of Security Officers.
• Maintain all security‑related documentation, records, logs, reports and administrative processes accurately and within required timescales.
• Manage visitor management processes, ensuring site access and egress procedures are followed.
• Monitor and support performance of Security Officers, ensuring compliance with the Service Level Agreement, Assignment Instructions and site procedures.
• Communicate regularly with the Contract Security Manager regarding operational performance, incidents and emerging issues.
• Report operational concerns, security risks, equipment issues, welfare matters and PPE requirements to the Contract Security Manager promptly.

• Valid SIA licence and full first aid certificate.
• Driving licence.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Knowledge of security operations and security systems.
• Ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances and events.
• Right to work in the UK with a 5‑year checkable history.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
