Location: Trafford Park

Salary: £40,000 Monday – Friday 40 hours per week

We are recruiting for a maintenance electrician to join a dedicated maintenance and engineering team within a facility in the Trafford Park area of Manchester.

Responsibilities

Complete PPM and reactive maintenance within the facility and estate
Complete compliance paperwork
Oversee sub‑contractors on site
Provide hands‑on and supervisory duties for lighting and emergency lighting
Conduct compliance checks
Ensure all tasks are risk‑assessed through site‑specific or dynamic RAMS
Monitor the BMS, continuously review systems, identify areas for improvement and energy reduction
Diagnose faults effectively and complete repairs where possible
Perform mechanical, HVAC and fabric repairs where needed
Carry out electrical small works
Manage lifecycle repairs

Qualifications

Qualified Electrician (Level 3 or Part 1 &
2)
Experience of PPM and reactive maintenance works
Multiskilled and able to complete general mechanical PPMs
Experience of RAMS, permits etc.
Plant room experience
Familiarity with the 18th edition Building Regulations
Client‑facing experience
